Inspired by a true story, the year is 1968, a year full of student protests and of renewed anti-semitic campaigns. Thousands of "Zionists" were forced to leave the country -- they had to ultimately depart on one-way passports, forced to renounce their citizenship once and for all. "Little Rose" is the pseudonym of Kamila, a young Polish graduate who is manipulated into spying for her lover Roman, a low level security services functionary given the task of incriminating a well-known dissident Jewish writer. She in turn wins the writer’s trust and soon his love. However, she soon begins to appreciate his personality and his knowledge and she sees the vulgarity of the existence she has shared so far with Roman.
